All Roads Lead to Brooklyn.

Brooklyn is located on the southern part of Wisconsin with Oregon to the north & Evansville to the south, Belleville to the west & Stoughton to the north east..  Hwy MM comes into town from the north & Hwy 104 from the south with Hwy 92 intersecting from the east & west. We are located half way between Madison & Janesville just off of Hwy 14. The railroad line also interests from the north & south. So you might say that all roads lead to Brooklyn.

You can go north toward Madison for the hustle & bustle of the big city or meander south for the peace and tranquility of the country with farms, woodland, nearby public nature parks and recreation areas. Brooklyn itself has Smithfield Park and the Legion Field Park, with Harvey’s Marsh Recreation area south on Hwy 14, Magnolia Bluff south on 104,  & Brooklyn Wildlife area on Hwy 92 west of Brooklyn.  There are 5 lakes in the area including Mendota, Monona, Waubesa,  Kegonsa & Koshkonong where you can go fishing & boating.

Brooklyn has a population of 1413 with a good school system, Community Center and it has a new Business Park located on Hwy 92 east of Brooklyn which is developed & building ready.  We have an active Recreation Group, Chamber .of Commerce, Snowmobile Club, Historical Society, Fire Dept, EMS  & American Legion with Community Activities on Santa Day, Business Expo,  Memorial Day, July 4th & Labor Day. You can find Brooklyn on the internet by going to www.brooklynwi.gov. & find out why we say that “All Roads lead to Brooklyn”.
